
Hailed as an “exciting dramatic soprano” (Opera Canada) and for her “command over a powerful range of expressive emotion” (The Whole Note), Jaclyn Grossman is a soprano, curator, and administrator from Toronto, Canada.
In the 2024/25 season, she made her role debut as Brünnhilde in Edmonton Opera’s Die Walküre and will continue her journey with the Ring Cycle, returning as Brünnhilde in Siegfried later this season. Her recent engagements include Freia in Das Rheingold with Edmonton Opera, Nedda in Pagliacci and Nella in Gianni Schicchi with Opera Kelowna, and soprano soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Buffalo Philharmonic under JoAnn Falletta. She also appeared in concert with Festival of the Sound and the Collingwood Music Festival.
Jaclyn is passionate about fostering community and connection and is deeply committed to supporting local groups and nonprofits. She is a co-founder of Likht Ensemble, which specializes in researching and performing Jewish music from the Holocaust. She is the Founder of The Phoenix Leadership Project and the creator/facilitator of the Association for Opera in Canada’s RBC Artist Fellowship/Mentorship, and the Programs Manager for Opera' 5’s Portfolio Artist Internship Program.
In her various roles, Jaclyn thrives on singing opera and art song, discovering new repertoire, sharing music from the Holocaust, working with a community of artists, exploring how artists can better engage with the opera sector, developing leadership programs, and above all, connecting with others.

Jewish Space Lasers
Co-Writer & Performer | Likht Ensemble
Jewish Space Lasers is a music-theatre satirical piece exploring personal reflections, comedy, Jewish Holocaust writing, art song, lieder, cabaret, Yiddish folk tunes, and pieces from the Germanic opera canon (including a mashup of Wagner’s greatest hits!). Jewish Space Lasers aims to facilitate a thoughtful and often humorous exploration of the complexities of antisemitism, Holocaust awareness, and Jewish identity in classical music.
